AT&T collaborates with Google on cloud networking and productivity services

The leading telco AT&T is teaming up with Google to deliver a more robust portfolio of cloud networking and collaboration services.

Google had recently launched Partner Interconnect program, which allows enterprises to securely and privately connect to nearest Google Cloud Platform (GCP) region through the Google Partners. With the partnership, the enterprises will be able to use AT&T NetBond for Cloud via the Partner Interconnect, and vice versa.

The AT&T NetBond for Cloud is a cloud networking solution for businesses that empowers workforce with a scalable, predictable, and highly secure connection to cloud. Use of Partner Interconnect via AT&T NetBond for Cloud will help enterprises to move workloads across multi-cloud environments, without using the internet.

Partner Interconnect ecosystem includes more than 20 leading cloud providers as partners, hence, the NetBond for Cloud will provide businesses the access to over 130 different cloud solutions.

Additionally, AT&T will also enable enterprises to use Google’s G-Suite through AT&T Collaborate. The Collaborate is a flexible collaboration solution that combines voice, video, IM, and conferencing on a single platform.

The partnership will help G-Suite users to benefit from AT&T’s carrier-grade voice reliability and security within the G-Suite applications.
