Twitter hacked, leaks email addresses of 200 million users
A shocking security breach of epic proportions recently came to light, as over 200 million email addresses of Twitter users were stolen and posted online in a hacking forum.
No clues are available currently that would help identify them.

He mentioned in his tweet that a patched vulnerability had enabled this leak and allowed users to be discovered through their phone numbers.
He also believes that this breach is one of the most significant to date, warning that it may lead to hacking, phishing, and doxing.
In what was deemed a major breach of personal data, over 5.4 million Twitter users had reportedly been targeted due to a security flaw last year.
The hacker is believed to have taken advantage of a vulnerability to scrap user information that was posted for sale at an asking price of more than $30,000.
The data had been reportedly shared on 24 November, for free, on the Breach Forums site.
Twitter’s recently uncovered major security breach can arouse the interest of both European and American regulators.
Data Protection Commission of Ireland and Federal Trade Commission of America is keeping an eye on how Elon Musk-led company adheres to data protection regulations set by each respective area.
