5.8 million YouTube channels are anticipated to be deleted in Q3 2022.
Analysis by Atlas VPN shows that Google’s video platform, YouTube, removed 5.8 million channels last quarter, which is the most ever.
The previous record was 4.8 million terminations, which happened during the third quarter of 2021.
1.8 million more channels were removed in Q3 2022 than in Q2. This represents a growth of 46%.
Last quarter, 91.2% of all channels that were removed were flagged as misleading, participating in scams, or spamming.
Most number of deleted videos are in India.
